Congratulations to our Tips and Tools for back to school Grand Prize Winner

Tuesday, November 1, 2016

We are happy to announce that our Tips and Tools for back to school was a huge success. With over 100 tips submitted, members showed much support for the education community. Between August 8 and September 18, 2016, we asked members and the community to share their ideas about how they get organized for back to school.

Over the course of the six week campaign, we chose one winner per week who received one $100 Visa Gift Card. At the end of the campaign, one Grand Prize winner was selected to award $500 to the school of their choice.

Congratulations to Amie W. of Montgomery County, Maryland for being the Grand Prize winner of our Tips and Tools for back to school campaign. In her tip, Amie highlighted two apps she uses to help keep parents updated daily on their student's progress. The two apps, Remind and Class Dojo allows Amie to take pictures and send them to parents, award students with points when they are doing well and helps Amie organize Parent/Teacher Conferences. Parents who download the apps can follow their student's class throughout the day.

As the Grand Prize winner, Amie chose to donate her $500 to Greencastle Elementary School in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Congratulations to all of our winners.
