Benefits of Credit Union Membership
To become a member of Educational Systems Federal Credit Union, an individual must meet the criteria under one of the following categories:
Public School Systems
Employees (including those paid by a contractor), students and parents of the following school systems:
- Anne Arundel County
 - Calvert County
 - Caroline County
 - Charles County
 - Dorchester County*
 - Frederick County*
 - Howard County
 - Montgomery County
 - Prince George’s County
 - St. Mary’s County
 - Talbot County
 
Higher Education
Employees (including those paid by a contractor), students, parents and alumni of the following schools:
- College of Southern Maryland
 - College of Southern Maryland Alumni*
 - Frederick Community College*
 - Howard Community College*
 - Howard University
 - Howard University Alumni*
 - Montgomery College
 - Montgomery College Alumni Association
 - Prince George’s Community College
 - Prince George's Community College Alumni
 - Salisbury University Alumni*
 - Wor-Wic Community College*
 
Support Education Foundation
Become an Educational Systems Federal Credit Union member by joining our Support Education Foundation if you’re a volunteer for, an employee, student, or alumni of, or a retiree from:
- A public or private school or school system
 - A public or private college or university
 - An education-related organization
 
Other Criteria
Individuals who meet one of the conditions below are also eligible for Educational Systems Federal Credit Union membership:
- Immediate family members of an individual eligible for Educational Systems Federal Credit Union membership
 - Immediate family members of an existing Educational Systems Federal Credit Union member
 - Individuals who live or work in St. Mary’s County, Maryland
 - Howard University Hospital employees
