Get started

Credit unions are formed to serve a field of membership with a common bond, such as a geographic area, profession, or employer group. At Educational Systems Federal Credit Union, we are proud to serve the education community. To become a Credit Union member, you’ll need to confirm your membership eligibility and provide a valid U.S. government-issued ID. You can open your account online or by visiting a branch.

It's easy to become a Credit Union member

As a member of Educational Systems Federal Credit Union, you will enjoy higher deposit rates and lower loan rates compared to many other financial institutions. This is because we are owned by our members who elect our volunteer Board of Directors. In contrast, banks are typically owned by stockholders who focus on profits for outside shareholders, and they are overseen by a paid Board of Directors. Another key differentiator is that our Board of Directors is comprised of members from the education community so they are able to help guide us in financial decisions that will benefit teachers, administrators, support staff, parents and students. All of these differences allow us to provide a great value to our members.

We look forward to helping you achieve financial wellness with Educational Systems Federal Credit Union.
