Junior Achievement

The Junior Achievement^TM Finance Park serves as host for over 51,000 students (43 schools in MCPS and 70 PGCPS) as well as over 11,000 students (32 schools) on the Eastern Shore. Students participate in a 14-lesson classroom curriculum, taught by their teacher, before exploring the JA Finance Park. The center features a variety of storefronts and kiosks, pertaining to personal finance for students to experience.

We’ve created a storefront, identical to the interior of our branches, which provides students the opportunity to learn personal budgeting for real-life situations. Students that visit the storefront will learn what a credit union is, along with how to set and achieve different financial goals.
