Girado Smith Recognized as a 2026 Influential Marylander

Educational Systems Federal Credit Union is proud to announce that Girado Smith, President/CEO, has been named a 2026 Influential Marylander by The Daily Record.The annual awards program recognizes leaders who have made significant contributions in their respective fields and demonstrated leadership across Maryland. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Influential Marylanders program, with honorees recognized in areas including civic leadership, education, finance, healthcare, philanthropy, technology and more.
Smith was recognized in the finance category for his leadership at Educational Systems Federal Credit Union and his commitment to advancing the Credit Union’s mission of empowering individuals and communities through accessible financial solutions.
