Educational Systems FCU Welcomes Mount St. Mary’s University to Field of Membership

Educational Systems Federal Credit Union announced that Mount St. Mary’s University has joined its field of membership. With this addition, Mount St. Mary’s University employees, students, and their family members are eligible to join Educational Systems FCU and access member-first financial solutions designed to support everyday banking and long-term financial wellness.

“As a Credit Union founded to support the education community, we are honored to welcome Mount St. Mary’s University,” said Girado Smith, President/CEO of Educational Systems FCU. “This relationship reflects our shared commitment to empowering learners and those who support them with relevant products, guidance, and financial education.”

Educational Systems FCU’s support for the Mount St. Mary’s community includes sponsorship of Emmit’s Reading Club Challenge—an initiative that invites more than 24,000 Frederick County elementary students across 44 schools to read two books and receive a complimentary ticket to a select Mount St. Mary’s men’s or women’s basketball game. The Credit Union also hosts monthly tabling events on campus and at basketball games to share membership benefits, answer questions and connect students and employees with resources.
